Description

Our hunting areas (lakes or rivers) accessed by float plane. Typically 1 hunter and 1 guide fly into a lake where they are dropped off, set up camp, and use a boat or canoe to provide transport during the hunt for 7 full days of hunting. Moose hunts are conducted from our Golden Lake base camp or from temporary tent camps set up during your hunt. We will establish the location / type of hunt before you book your hunt. These are rut hunts, and virtually all the hunting is done by calling – your guides will bring the moose to you. All hunters must be able to ‘get around’ – in & out of canoes and boats. Lake shores can be steep, rocky and/or muddy, and there are few docks or established camps sites. These are wilderness hunts. We can / will modify the hunt plan based on your fitness level, experience on the water, and your sense of adventure. Wolf tags are available. We run 1x1 hunts except by special request, typically with a maximum of 2 hunters per camp.

      Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

      Description

Any bull moose is legal in our Saskatchewan guide area but we’re looking for 40 – 50” moose. Some of our hunters treat this as a ‘meat hunt’, and harvest the first bull they see – it’s up to you. Moose retrieval, and care of trophy / meat for the duration of your hunt. Wolf tags are available.
